Lombok Island
Lombok (population 2,950,105 in 2005) is an
island in West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. It is part of the
chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the Lombok Strait separating
it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa
to the east. It is roughly circular, with a "tail" to the southwest,
about 70 km across and a total area of about 4,725 km˛ (1,825 sq
mi). The provincial capital and largest city on the island is
Mataram.

From our home port of Labuanbajo in Flores and
Teluk Kode North fo Lombok MS.Sojourn operates the Chinese's
traditional liveaboard sailing vessel. The vessel has been
extensively customised and refitted to suit long range live aboard
sailing expeditions. MS.Sojourn is our proud and comfortable vessel
with a length of 23 meters, a beam of 5 meters, width 4-5 meters,
rig 1,75 meters and 5 cabins with sharing AC for maximum 8 persons
offers total comfort . Completed by 2 sharing bathroom, dining
living room, freezer – refrigerator, fiber covered sun deck, tender
life raft, cold & hold water, kitchen mini bar and lazy chairs.
She will be doing all cruises to explore the Last Komodo Dragon
around the National Park of Komodo to see Komodo activities in Rinca
and Komodo island, Sumbawa Island, Satonda and Moyo and Lombok and
Gili Islands. Also suitable for private charter with your group or
family.
Constructed with steel hull & wooden deck, 3 masteds junk regged
schoneer and main engine Mitsubishi 250 Hp, Sojourn gives you plenty
of space to lose oneself; whether it is in the air-conditioned
comfort of the large saloon or on the decks under the shade of one
of the ship's huge sails.The cabins are cleaned once a day with a
very high staff to guest ratio on board service is excellent.
Itinerary:
Day 01, TELUK KODE-GILI ISLANDS-SATONDA ISLAND
Pick u p
and transfer services to Teluk Kode harbor north of Lombok, Aboard
on MS. Sojourn and short tours onboard.
Sail to Gili Air for swimming, snorkeling or
beach combing ( Diving is an optional ), spend your time on
beautiful island of Gili Air.
Afternoon sail to Satonda Island ( Lunch and
Dinner onboard )
Day 02. SATONDA ISLAND-GILI LAWA
Arrive in Satonda island in the morning, Go a
shore and visit Satonda Lake while you can also doing some
snorkeling or just swimming on white beach of Satonda
Afternoon sail to Gili Lawa Island north of
Komodo Island. ( Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner onboard )
Day 03. GILI LAWA-RED BEACH-KOMODO
ISLAND-RINCA ISLAND
Arrive in Gil i
Lawa in the morning, enjoy your swimming or snorkeling of Komodo
island reefs, You can also hike to the island top hill to sea the
spectacular view of Komodo National Park Marine,
Lunch on the way to Red Beach for another
spectacular coral reefs and fishes. After lunch sail to Komodo
Island and trek to see Komodo Dragons and it's wildlife. Sail to
Rinca island Overnight at Loh Buaya bay. ( Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner onboard )
Day 04, RINCA ISLAND-SEBAYUR KECIL-LABUAN BAJO
Early morning wa ke
for Rinca island trekking, search for Komodo dragons, wild horses,
wild water buffaloes, wild boars, Deer, crab eating macaques and
birds. Return to your boat and sail to Sebayur island for your last
spectacular snorkeling before heading to Labuan Bajo
Upon arrive in Labuan bajo, we will transfer you
to your hotel.
